My client for this cake had seen the Star Wars cake that I created for my son and wanted me to create a cake for her husband’s birthday.  Because I knew that I was making this for an adult, I tried to keep the design a bit more simple and classic.  I used a smooth fondant based and accented it with the outline of a storm trooper on top to give, what I feel, is a bit more of an adult feel.
