In order to create the perfect cake, I always try to find out as much personal information as I can about the client, especially when they are not having a specific themed birthday.  For this client, I was told that she was obsessed with swimming and her favorite color was orange.  Based on this information, I created a swimming girl on the cake and used orange as an accent color, even giving her orange finger nail polish.  This way, the cake is as specific to the client as possible.
