For this cake, my client was throwing a farm themed third birthday party for her son.  She sent me a few pictures of cakes that she had found that she liked.  I also asked that she send me her invitation so that I could tie the cake into her exact theme and look as much as possible. The final product included the farm animals, barn and tractor from her invitation.  To the tractor, I added puffs of smoke from the stack that spelled out the birthday boy’s name.  I finished the cake off with fondant trees, grass, and clouds and buttercream grass between layers.
